In 2017 the legendary & magnificent drummer Fil Baker – former of the Fat Chance band was recruited to join Dave Kent (Vox and Guitars) and Jeff Rose (Bass Guitar) in the newly formed Rock and Blues band. Originally the band was named “Los Gatos Dementes” (The Crazy Cats) but Fil came up with a far superior name – “Turtle Recoil”. Performed their first gig 15th May 2018 and the recorded the audio stems for their first demo at Dark Horse Studios 23rd June 2018.
